The project aims to benefit rural youth from farming, ethnic, and diverse backgrounds by strengthening their entrepreneurial initiatives in areas such as agricultural and non-agricultural production, green and sustainable businesses, biotrade, ecotourism, and other rural services. These efforts are designed to generate sustainable income and contribute to the revitalization of local economies, fostering innovation, natural resource management, and the implementation of rural development with a territorial approach in the Colombian countryside. The active participation of young people in the creation of rural policies and programs is essential for the success of these initiatives.
OUR MISSIONS
We continue exploring the regions where the ‘Youth in the Countryside on the Move’ project is present. This initiative gives us the opportunity to travel through our territory, learn from diverse life experiences, engage with local institutions, and showcase the entrepreneurial initiatives that are part of La Mesa de Empleabilidad y Emprendimiento Juvenil Rural.

This project, supported by the Italian Agency for Development Cooperation (AICS), will directly benefit more than 5,449 young rural, ethnic, and diverse men and women between the ages of 18 and 35 who are affiliated with the MEEJR, its organizations, and its ventures.
